Who we are

This website is run by John Morley & Son Roofing, Hollydene House, South Lane, Woodmancote, Emsworth PO10 8PT. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through it. If you have a question about your information, call us on 07710 503069 or 01243 376267 or write to us at the address above.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote we collect what you type into the form:

• your name, phone number and email address, and the best time to call you;
• the property’s address, town and postcode;
• details of the job: the work you need, the roof and property type, how urgent it is, your description and any photos you upload.

We also keep a record of when the enquiry was made and which page it came from.

How we use it

We use your details to answer your enquiry: to call you back, arrange a visit, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. We do this because you have asked us to (to take steps before entering into a contract with you). We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell or share them with anyone for their own use.

Unfinished forms

The quote form saves your answers as you go so you can finish later. Your progress is kept in your own browser and on our website until you send the form or it is removed. If you choose “Finish later”, we email you a link back to your answers.

Photos

Photos you upload are stored in a private folder on our web hosting that cannot be opened from the internet. Only our team can see them.

Who can see your information

Your enquiry is seen by our team. It is stored on our website hosting in the UK, and emails about it pass through our email provider. These companies process it only to provide those services to us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
